MEKA TE 2X Hand is a perfect combination of functionality and affordability.

This MekaJIN comes ready for 3 types of actuation:

  • Hand / cable controlas shown in images
  • Full servo HITEC HSR-5990TG contrl for each finger / thumb
  • Pneumatic control using Bimba(tm) cylinders 

 

This hand has 13 points of motion, all controlled by only five actuators (listed above). This coupled kinematic (multiple four-bar linkage systems in series) design allows for easy control of the system when recording / programming a performance. Mechanical "stops" are on each finger / thumb. Spring returns are included only in the cable operated hand. The human hand connector (top-of-hand- mount for cable operator) is only available in cable-operated model.
